SWAT responds after suspect refuses to exit home after deputies serve warrant, HCSO says
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities said that SWAT units responded as a suspect was refusing to exit a home in the Channelview area after deputies attempted to serve a warrant.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to Reigate Lane near Dell Dale Street to serve a warrant at about 1 p.m. on Monday. Officials said the man refused to leave the home.
HCSO told ABC13 that no one else is inside the residence. Officials have not identified the suspect or the reason for the initial warrant.
SkyEye13 was over the scene Monday evening, capturing images of law enforcement at the scene of the reported SWAT situation.
As of Monday night, the scene has cleared. Authorities have not provided an update regarding this incident.
